  • Your card details never touch our servers, Stripe and NOWPayments handle payment directly
  • Chats with Zo may help train the model, and you can opt out of that anytime
  • You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it

This is a plain-language summary, not a substitute for the full policy below. If the two ever disagree, the full text is what applies.

1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes what data SayZo Ltd ("SayZo," "we," "us") collects, and how we use, store, and protect it when you use the platform at sayzo.ink ("Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Data We Collect

2.1. Data you provide directly

  • Email address, on registration
  • Password, stored in encrypted form
  • Payment information, processed by Stripe and NOWPayments. We do not see or store your card details
  • Messages you send Zo in chat, including any video ideas, edits, and instructions
  • Images and files you upload as references for a generation

2.2. Data we collect automatically

  • IP address and approximate location, country and city
  • Device type, browser, operating system
  • Generation history: chat messages, models, settings, and status
  • Activity data within the Service, session duration and interface interactions
  • Cookies and similar technologies

2.3. Data from third parties

  • On payment, a transaction confirmation from Stripe or NOWPayments, with no card data included

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery, running your chat with Zo, generating video, managing your account
  • Payment processing, confirming payments and preventing fraud
  • Service improvement, understanding usage, fixing bugs, building new features
  • AI model training, using aggregated and anonymized generation data
  • Communication, service notifications and responses to support requests
  • Marketing, updates about new features, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
  • Security, detecting violations and preventing abuse

4. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • session management, keeping you signed in
  • analytics, understanding how the Service is used
  • performance improvement

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect how well the Service works.

5. Sharing Data With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Payment providers, Stripe and NOWPayments, for payment processing
  • AI model and cloud infrastructure providers, for generating video and hosting the Service
  • Analytics services, in anonymized form
  • Law enforcement, where required by law or to prevent harm

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained until the account is deleted
  • Chat and generation history is retained for 90 days after account deletion, then permanently erased
  • Payment records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and financial law
  • Backups are deleted within 30 days of primary data deletion

7. Data Security

We apply the following measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption of data in transit, TLS/HTTPS
  • Password encryption, bcrypt
  • Access restricted by the principle of least privilege
  • Regular security audits

No system can guarantee absolute security. If we discover a vulnerability or a data breach, we will notify affected users within a reasonable timeframe.

8. User Rights (GDPR and Others)

If you are located in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with equivalent legislation, you have the right to:

  • Access, request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification, request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure, request deletion of your data, the "right to be forgotten"
  • Restriction, limit how your data is processed
  • Portability, receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection, opt out of data processing for marketing purposes

9. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you become aware that a child has given us their data, contact us at privacy@sayzo.ink and we will delete it right away.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by email and/or an in-app notification at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
